All of us experience times of feeling down, frightened or stressed. Usually these feelings pass, but sometimes they can develop into a mental health problems like anxiety or depression, which can impact on our daily lives. For some people, mental health problems become complex, and require support and treatment for life.
Two thirds (66%) of people in the UK feel they have no one to talk to when it comes to personal conversations on topics such as mental health, money problems and relationships. When asked why, the top reason was never being able to find the right time, or the right place.
