JIB launches Members’ Toolkit to provide further support

As part of a renewed effort to enhance member support, the JIB is developing a set of business resources aimed at helping employers explain and promote the JIB benefits to its employees but also support members with procurement and other business-related challenges.

Included in the toolkit so far are:

  • Procurement support text – a prewritten explanation targeted at showing the competitive benefits of using a JIB member company that can be used to support tender submissions or proudly promoting their business.
  • JIB “Hidden Benefits”  benefits poster – designed to showcase some of the key employee benefits of being directly employed that perhaps go unnoticed, such as Private Medical Insurance (PMI), pensions and training fund.
  • JIB Webinar Series – The first in a series of webinars targeted at informing JIB members of the key resources they benefit from to maintain their competitive edge. The first webinar supported by ECIS and Bupa shows how PMI protects their people, their most valuable asset. The webinar can be viewed here.
  • Series of case studies focusing on how JIB membership has benefited organisations and individuals in a number of ways.

In the most recent membership survey, JIB membership being seen as a mark of quality was listed as one of the top three reasons why companies value the JIB. To help promote the compelling reasons why clients should invest and only use JIB firms, JIB has curated information which details how member companies have earned the right to display the JIB logo which signifies they are a gold standard employer and the commercial benefits this delivers.

The Hidden Benefits poster is an eye-catching resource for employers to promote the hidden benefits of their employees’ pay package, including holiday and pension and PMI.

All the downloadable resources will be available on the JIB website and videos can be viewed at JIB’s YouTube channel.

Jay Parmar, Chief Executive of the JIB, explained the thought process behind the toolset: “This enhanced member-focused toolset shows that the JIB listens, actively engages and seeks actionable feedback from its members to strengthen the value proposition and explore key innovative areas. This is what our members have asked for, and we want to help them grow their businesses and be successful from different angles – be it winning business or keeping and growing a skilled workforce or investing in their future skilled talent to deliver net zero.”
