UK contractors are impacted by announcement from construction firm ISG

A number of UK contractors will be seeking more information following the announcement that building firm ISG is to cease trading. Advice and support are available for individuals and companies affected by the news.

  • The Electrical Contractors’ Association (ECA) has published advice for its members on protecting their business – available here
  • JIB member companies, and their employees, can obtain support and information from the JIB industrial relations team. Apprentices in the sector can also access this help whether they work for a JIB company or not. Contact ir@jib.org.uk.
  • Electricians in the supply chain concerned about redundancy can find out more about financial assistance available to upskill through the JIB Skills Development Fund
  • Build UK and the CITB are offering help for apprentices and graduates who are directly employed by ISG by email at info@Builduk.org
