The Electrical Industries Charity (EIC) plays a vital role in the welfare and betterment of individuals associated with the electrical and energy industry.
The charity is currently promoting two ways that people can become more involved with the work that it does, either by joining its Emerging Professionals (EP) Board or by becoming an EIC Charity Ambassador.
The EP Board is composed of young, talented individuals who have been in the industry for less than 10 years. It plays a key part in supporting the charity’s objectives and driving meaningful change within the industry. EP Board members have the chance to take on leadership roles and help manage critical projects which impact the charity’s mission and the broader community. Further information about how to join the EP Board can be found here.
EIC Ambassadors help to raise awareness of the charity in various ways, such as inspiring more people to fundraise, getting more people signed up for the powerLottery and encouraging your company to choose the EIC as their ‘Charity of the Year’. Volunteering as an EIC Ambassador offers personal fulfilment while supporting your colleagues in need. To find out more, and apply to be an EIC Ambassador, click here.
