In the final quarter of 2024, 155 individuals across 150 organisations completed our member survey. The JIB’s overall performance was rated as Good, Very Good or Excellent by 84% of respondents, with 92% agreeing that the JIB makes them feel valued as a member.
The three main reasons cited for joining the JIB were: the mark of quality associated with membership; the benefits scheme it provides; and its effectiveness as an HR solution. The majority of respondents (76%) also stated that JIB membership was important to their business.
Those surveyed highlighted the value of the JIB’s health and benefit schemes; its employment law guidance, advice and information: and the support for training available through the Skills Development Fund.
Detailing the areas where they would like to see further development, members suggested an increase in promotion of the JIB – including the value of its continuing professional development (CPD) and Skills Development Fund. There was also a call to increase market, industry and legislative updates.
